Question:

We have a cabin in central MN that has 1/2 log siding. There is an area on the side that is facing north that is green with mold, splitting and cracking away. What is the best way to fix that problem? Also, what would be the best way to clean 1/2 log siding. Thank you!

Answer:

You should wash it with Perma Chink Log Wash. you can call 800-564-2987 to order some. A little goes a long way. As for the splitting and cracking--???. You may have to replace that portion of the siding.
