We are renovating our 200 yr old, hand hewn log cabin,we would like to drywall certain areas(all outsidewalls).Do we use the convetional method 2x6 insulation,6mm poly, and drywall.I am concerned about mold. How do we drywall the inside of our log cabin properly.

Answer:

You should be able to use 2x4's with the plastic vapor barrier.
