Re-staining pine log home. Original finish was Rymar Rain Wet Sheen. Should I stay with Rymar Rain Wet? Should I consider another product, and would it apply over the Rymar Rain Wet? Thanks.

Answer:

I wouldn't recommend this product, but it will have to be removed to put something different on. I would recommend Life Line stain. Call 800-564-2987 to buy.

Why wouldn't you recommend the Rymar stains? We are looking into staining our pine log siding in Northern WI and trying to find a quality, long lasting stain. SW said Rymar is top quality, but we can't find a lot of info on it. Is there a stain you recommend?
