Question:

I would like to paint the outside of my log home blue, or grey blue, in a paint, not stain. so, not translucent, but perhaps semi-translucent. Do you have any pictures of what that might look like? What is the down side to painting? pLease advise

Answer:

Do not use paint! You should use a solid color stain which looks like paint, but has the qualities of stain.
